After two almost two years of hiding in a box and me forgetting about it I have finally finished the Aegis Gundam with a generous application of Decals. With the decals in place my brother can now bask in the joy that I have finally repaired the Aegis Gundam that he'd bought from a car boot sale for £1 and only needed replacement hands, fixing broken pegs for the shield and side skirt and a snapped V-Fin.

Instead I performed a full makeover, extending the legs by 10mm, using Milliput to extend section of the arms, shoulders and blade edges to give a sharper appearance, but it wasn't until Bandai released their line of option parts that I was able to bring everything together, along with the option parts from Wave Corporation and Kotobukiya.

It isn't until you see the Aegis next to the Strike Gundam that you truly understand how much difference 10mm added to the legs adds to the height of the kit.
